We always have the best intentions to workout consistently and reach our fitness goals, but after a while we sabotage ourselves and give up. Why do we give up when we know that reaching our fitness goals is so important?

In this video I'd like to take you on a journey to understand what willpower is, how to get more of it by understanding how Starbucks trains their employees to increase their willpower, and I’ll close with 5 tips on how to motivate yourself to go to the gym consistently and reach your fitness goals.

Hey John, Great Video, all tips very useful. I will add one from my experience. For people (me included) works visualization of your Big goal. One proverb said: ,,Set a goal that makes you want to jump out the bed every morning." - Big goal (how you want to look like at the end) could be your first think to imagine every morning (or when you don´t/want to go to the gym), then divide it to smaller goals. Next time you notice, gym becomes habit (what you explain greatly), and you will do it automatically.
