    My, How Fast They Grow

Yes, I definitely have. Without going into a lot of detail, I helped raise my cousins for a few years and they were definitely as though they were my own. I miss them horribly, but I really hope that the time I spent with them had an effect.

    Do Something New...

That's really great advice. I never choose watching TV or something over doing those other things. I do love going out and trying new things especially. I wish I had more time to do more, though.

Getting Over the Past is Difficult

I don't feel like those things are about "getting over the past." If someone does some of those things (like killing animals) then it says stuff about their personality and character. It's not usually a one time thing that you can simply 'get over' but is about the person as a whole.

    Bloated Tummy: Yogurt and Yakult?

Has she seen a doctor about this? And it actually *could* be because of the vegetables. Some veggies make some people very gassy, which could be the bloated feeling she has. If she eats a lot of broccoli and cauliflower, for example, they could be upsetting her tummy a bit. As for the part...

    Learning the Ropes First...

I think blogging is something that you can dive into and keep learning. It's constantly changing and you'll never know it all, but you can just keep working at it and implementing new things as you learn even more.

5 Tips for an Easy, Comfortable Conversation When Meeting New People

So true. I absolutely hate when someone asks me to tell them about myself. I have no idea what to say. And then I just stumble around, trying to figure out what to say, and feeling more and more uninteresting with every passing second of silence.

    Online Infidelity

I see it the same as an offline infidelity. It would be dealt with the same way and it would more than likely kill my relationship. I can't guarantee it wouldn't, but given my past experiences with it and where I stand on the issue, I don't think I could ever trust the person again after...

    Social Stigma towards Single persons!

I have never had any issues with there being a social stigma toward singles. I think if you're being pushed out of events that are family-related because of it, then it's likely to do with the family and not society itself. Most people don't seem to care if someone is single.

    Do you eat breakfast?

What kinds of foods would you eat for breakfast that you might not the rest of the day? I ask because I will eat breakfast foods any time of the day. And often times, I see people eat things for breakfast that they wouldn't otherwise...and really shouldn't at all anyway (like doughnuts).

Staying Positive by Avoiding Negative People

That's sweet and all, but it can also be exhausting. If you're not careful, you'll get sucked in and have no real way out. Some negative people are simply vile and they will poison everything around them, even when people are trying to help. They can really only be helped if they *want* to be...

    Buy a Punching Bag

I suppose that's true. Sometimes the instant gratification is enough to clear your mind, though. If you can get all the frustration out, then sometimes you can go ahead and think your situation overly more clearly. If it's something you can control and alter, then that may be all that's...

    Personal Breakthrough

Absolutely. Graduating high school for me was a big one. Graduating college was an even bigger one. Yes, these are successes that a lot of people have, but I was the first in my family. I have relatives who graduated high school, but never university. And most of them had kids before they...

2013, we're still here, so what happens now?

For the entire human race? I have no idea. I suppose continue working on improving all the things we were working on before people suddenly thought we were all going to die out. There are always things we can progress with.

    Afraid of Friday the 13th?

I did not fear them last year and I don't fear any that come up in future years. It really doesn't mean anything to me at all.
