Are You on the Right Track?

It’s never too late to understand what’s going on in your life

Are you on the right track? You don’t know? I’ll help you if you feel you are working harder and harder, but gaining less and less out of life, you definitely need to read this article, just as starting point.

I’ve spent a lot of time trying to understand what’s the most important thing to do to get a satisfied life. I have done my homework and this article is just a small part of the information I have. I hope you will find it useful. By the end of reading it, I do hope your mind will be clearer. You will be learning more about turning points and what influences your life.

My subject is very simple; how to lead meaningful life and what leads us to live a life out of balance. By being aware of these factors, people can escape running their own life with no direction. Are you ready to sit down and spend time and energy planning for your future? If you do, planning for the future will take time, but it will be worth it.

Do you have your own system of personal goals, with a clear direction where your life is heading, including what steps you need to take? If not, I am afraid you are wasting your time exposing yourself to painful discoveries. Late in your life, the only answer could be: I am sorry, but it is too late for you.

If there is one thing you want to get in life, it’s your a concept. I know for sure that every successful person in any given field is successful because he had a concept, knowing where he was heading. Without it, you won’t be able to find your way and how to express your true self. Your personal concept will decide how far you can go in your life and how successful will you be.

Maybe you don’t believe that having a concept and a clear picture of what you want out of your life will give you any advantage. If you still have a question why it is so important to have a direction and a concept where you would like to be in life I’ll give you one reason. The reason is very easy to understand and accept. When you know direction, your intellectual center will provide you with information, ideas, suggestions and the right thoughts to reach your destination. Yes, whatever you do, your mind will be there for you to satisfy yourself and give you support. You just need to understand your true abilities. When you know yourself and when you have a concept in life, you are on the right track.

If you don’t know your direction, or if you don’t have direction, then find a purpose in life. For a “solid” life you need a solid point. Having purpose is a solid point. It will give you a sense of direction and meaning whatever you want to be. Remember, we are always responsible for the path we are taking. Don’t be discouraged if the outcome you get is not always positive.

The other day I saw a person who went to see a professional counselor “for a concept and direction”. Wrong! The only person who can make your goal, concept or direction is you. If you are following someone else’s direction, with the best intentions, you are on the wrong track.

Of course, we need suggestions from our parents, families, friends, colleges and professionals. But, they are there just to help us lay out our own concept. Choose your concept very carefully; you don’t want to live someone else’s life.

Your current position in life is inevitably a byproduct of your previous homework. I know, you got a raw material from your parents, environment, society and other circumstances in your life, but no one would want to live life with raw materials. You must make your own life out of raw materials. It doesn’t matter what your educational background is, your type of character or your IQ; all you need is in your hands. As you know “If you get a lemon in a life, make lemonade of it”. This is very true and we need to respect it.

Successful, happy people followed their concept, not only their nose, or maybe you still believe they only follow their nose with their life, job and other people? What are you following? You have a choice. It’s up to you.

Consequently, today’s business world is full of people involved in careers that were consuming but not fulfilling. If you want to avoid that kind of career situation you need to know answers to these simple questions: Who are you? What are you good at? What’s your concept? What’s your direction in life? If you know the answers, you are on the right track and more importantly you will be relieved from stress.

How to make a good concept and what to include in your concept?

Try to include in it some general premises. For instance, ask yourself; what are my personal abilities? Where’s my main field of interest? What’s my goal in life? What’s my personality type?

Learn your strongest skills and values.

Making a concept is a long term task. Try to make long term decisions, not short ones. Short term decisions will give you only a temporarily “feeling good” opinion about yourself.

Obviously, everyone wants the best life in all circumstances, but how many of us take care of our concept and direction? No plan, no goals, no concept – no satisfied life .Why don’t you want to plan your life? If on our way through life we feel that something is missing out there, don’t blame life. We need to do what we have to do, one way or another.

I know everyone wants to live successful life. What is a successful life, anyway?

Simply, when you focus on what’s inside you, not only what’s outside, you live a successful life. By a successful life I mean a responsible, meaningful, thankful, creative, spiritual life.

Not an empty life full of jealousy, competition, anger and stress .Make your life full of health not just wealth, understand what’s important to you, not to anyone else. At any given moment you need to know what you have done with your life, and what you should be doing now. Creating a healthy, successful, hopeful and joyful life out of any given circumstances will allow you to gain responsibility for yourself and your family.

Good luck!
