I've spent the last 3 days moving. It was a very physical task and my body is really sore. What are some good remedies you know about for sore muscles?

My wife says Emu oil has really helped her. It may come in different forms but she has a small little bottle, it's highly concentrated and you just rub a little in.

Emu oil is really good for pain management. I once tried it because my aunt sent it to me from Australia. Emu oil by the way is an oil from the fat of the emu -- Dromaius novaehollandiae -- a bird local toAustralia. It has been used traditionally by the Australian aborigines for managing and treating burns, wounds, bruises, and as a pain reliever for bone, muscle, and joint disorders. If this is not yet available in your local stores, try to buy it online... just search for it in Google.

I also experienced to have sore muscle due to carrying heavy things for a home cleaning activity. I had put oil said to be specifically formulated to relax muscles and it did worked. I also spent some time relaxing just lying in my bed.

I use a variety of things for sore muscles. Emu oil is one. I also use this wrap that is actually designed for weight loss but the natural ingredients didn't do anything for weight loss but they did miracles on my sore muscles and bad knee. It's an herbal wrap and I wouldn't be without several of them on hand. I also use Epsom salt based bath salts and a long soak bath if the muscles are to weary. There are a lot of recipes online for Epsom based bath salts and I have found a few, especially menthol centered salts, that work wonders.

I would say drink a lot of water. Water can really help get rid of the soreness. You are sore because of the build up of acid in your muscles and you will continue to be sore until it is gone. Water will help get rid of it. Actually any type of liquid will. It is basically acting as a natural cleaner.
