    Charcoal black,
With a moist, glistening, button like, nose,
    Centered perfectly,
    On your short, stout frame,

    Pointed, sharp, short ears,
    With shiny, alert eyes,
    Half, protruding tongue,
Hanging from an ear to ear grin,

    Happy go lucky disposition,
    Draws attention,
    Nourishing your gratification seeking ego,
In turn, feeding an automatic response,
    That sets into motion,
    A wagging, little tail,

    Uncontrollable excitement,
    Creates the "Domino effect,"
Whole body wiggling with its twists and turns,
While dancing on the tips of padded paws,

    Jackson, the Terrier,
    A valued family member,
    Adored and treasured,
    Enriching someone's life
