Hi my name is Brenda, married with one son. I am a qualified Occupational Therapist and have a wealth of experience in a number of fields from Mental Health, Elderly (multiple pathology), Neurological conditions and much more. I enjoy my work and love working with people. I get a great deal of satisfaction in helping others especially when I have made a positive impact on their life. I have always had an interest in Nutrition and feel that this is the way forward in helping people with health conditions. I have recently had a few problems myself and decided to undertake a diploma course in Nutrition: 1. To help myself and family 2. To become a professional nutrition therapist and combine this with Occupational Therapy qualification. I find it so interesting and rewarding. I love animals especially dogs, but all animals are lovely. I enjoy walking, swimming and other sports but unable to do at present. I also enjoy travel when I can. I would like to get involved in photography but not had the opportunity on a serious level. Just general photos. I also live in the UK.

Welcome Brenda. Your goal of combining those disciplines sounds wonderful. I think there are too few professionals that can look at more than one side of a problem in someone's life. With the baby boomers growing older, the need for people with these skills will continue to be on the rise.

I need to walk more myself, I enjoy it when I do but too often the day is suddenly at the end and I never did it. I do a little better with regular exercise using some of those stretchy cables of varying size that you can hook to the door.
