I met my husband at our alma mater. I'm in my sophomore year while he had just graduated from his major. We started out as friends first. Actually, I didn't know that he was into me. To me, we were just friends, nothing more. This friendship developed into something more. And 12 years later, here we are.

His mail was the first real answer I got, very lengthy, well written as an introduction and we first mailed, then started talking on the phone and met in person three weeks later. He called me sister and I called him brother. It was December 2008 that we become officially became couples and we got married on 2009 but because of financial difficulties, we are not together yet. Our communication is constant as in our skype is online everyday, 24/7 except Sunday and special services and if he will go out to do some work. Hopefully, we will be together early this year after the visa approval, God willing.
I met my husband four years ago on my friend son's baptism. He was a shy type and I was surprised that he called me after a week that we met. He told me that he has a plan to visit our place and meet my family. I was thinking that he was only joking when he said that. We were not even friends at that time. The following day he called me again to inform me that he was already on the airport. It takes more than 1 hour for him to travel by plane. He was really serious on courting me. After one year, he proposed and I said "YES".
A good question! I met my husband while working at a mall in a city near to his hometown. Their store was just beside ours. I remember, I never really liked him at first cause I think he was just another jerk playing around with girls. But as I get to know him, I found out that he wasn' t that bad after all. I liked talking to him a lot, and then we became textmates. That's when we became really close. And you know the rest.

My heart was fluttering and I knew he was the one. Both him and I confessed to each other that we never felt this way ever. We fell in love in the span of one night. Even though he has his negative moments I still truly love him.
I met my boyfriend at a dance festival. We have a common friend and so I was introduced to him. Not to make a match, by far not. This common friend had earlier shown interest in my, but I wasn't interested in anything more than our current friendship. Eventually he saw that me and my boyfriend really liked each other and he acted like a matchmaker almost literary pushing us into each others arms at his birthday party. It worked, we have been together since and so our anniversary is on our common friends birthday ;-)
That was truly romantic, I never heard any stories about being in-love because of social sites before in real life but reading your story makes me feel very happy for both of you. Being in love is really one of the most precious feelings the world can offer.
I met my GF in weirdest possible occasion. I was attending the wedding of my friend (one of my close friends), and I met her there, the bride was her relative. Had a few words together, and gradually we became close to each other. 5 years since that and we are about to get married next year.
