I don’t have to tell who Steve Jobs is and what are his many contributions to modern living and global business. Steve Jobs left many legacies and many words of wisdom for us to think over and over again. Here is one of them:

“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers…the ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things. They push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius because those who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

Steve Jobs was right. In many cases, people who are different and who refused to go along with the flow are the people who will eventually contribute more for society’s change and improvement. :D

It was fine to make different things to get different results as long as it does not hurt anyone. Crazy would mean beyond normal imagination of common and simple people and thus result outstanding outputs that later amaze those who does not immediately believe on a concept or idea. Change is constant in this world and better to make those changes more positive than the opposite. ;)

Mr. Jobs, genius that he was, knew that if you think outside the box as they say, you may well find a better way. Therein lies the thinking of those people, who are able see a whole other way. Why not do it this way or that? One day, some of my different thinking may be in front of and not behind the changes, that have occurred. Like the robot vacuum cleaner or the parachutes for planes, ideas that I thought of before I saw them in action on television. We all have imaginations, we have to be able to carry it further, than just the imagination. Outside the box, it is a winner in a lot of cases. Cheers

Definitely! People should be thinking outside of the confinement of the box that they are in so that innovations and changes could flow into our society. In many cases, general population can be lukewarm or can even be opposing changes but when people who are proposing them won't give up they can be sure to reap the benefits later. This is one big reason why we have to be open to new ideas as we don't know which will really be accepted by the masses later. And if in case we can't directly support innovations, we should never be blocking their way. :D

I took this from wayne dyer but its one of my favorite quotes.

Abraham Maslow, always counseled that it was necessary for the self-actualized individual to be “independent of the good opinion of others.”

I really like that independent of the good opinion of others

The quote is very relevant given the degree to which so many factors of society try to push rules and conformity on the population. With all these forces working, only those who bend and break the rules really have the ability make a difference that can alter the fabric of society. I know that for myself, I often notice these pressure and in many situations I don't take the more aggressive step of opposing them when it probably would make sense to do so.
